A strong smell of cleaning supplies permeated the room, making the atmosphere uncomfortable throughout the stay. There were issues with the room assignments, leading to three different room keys being issued before finally getting settled. Additionally, I felt that the potential for a refund or compensation for our troubles was not offered.

The breakfast offered a great variety, including

delicious options like breakfast burritos and waffles. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledge about the area. However, there was some confusion initially with my reservation regarding discounts, which thankfully got sorted out.

I had a cozy stay at Super 8 in Trinidad! The breakfast had options like waffles and breakfast burritos, which were awesome. The staff, especially at the front desk, were super friendly and accommodating. Just a bit of noise from the hallway was distracting sometimes.

The room I had was a comfortable Queen Room, Non-Smoking. I appreciated the ability to open the window for some fresh air, which really helped. The price was also better than other hotels in the area. Unfortunately, I noticed the air quality wasn't great. The cleaning products used had strong chemical smells, and I felt ill the next morning. Another downside was a surprise extra charge of $1.75 for a room safe I didn't use. Although I was told it could be refunded, weeks later, I still haven't seen that refund. Overall, my stay was decent, but those issues put a damper on things.

i might have considered a better review, if i hadn’t been greeted by that nauseating chemical smell instead of fresh air. the bathroom was practically a health hazard! also, when checking in, i clearly expected a room upgrade since i’ve traveled, but alas, i was just another ‘guest.

The pet fee was reasonable at $15, and the room was cozy for my couple stay with our dogs.

The location was ideal for our golf trips to Cougar Canyon Golf Links and the Trinidad Municipal Golf Course. The staff was really helpful, and we enjoyed the clean and comfy room. Breakfast had great options, too!

This place suits me perfectly with friendly staff, free Wi-Fi, pets allowed, and clean rooms. I remember how sweet they were to my old parents during our first visit. I'm excited to return soon on my trip!
